Doughnuts have been making a solid comeback of late, and just like our obsession for burgers led to Burgapalooza, finally our doughnut addiction has been recognised.
Sydneysiders, get excited, because you’re getting a doughnut festival!

Called 'Day of the Doughnut', the festival is dedicated to the fried dough ball made trendy again by Doughnut Time, Brewtown Newtown, Grumpy Donuts and Melbourne’s Shortstop to name a few.
Set to take place on Saturday July 30 in Surry Hills, the holey event will no doubt give you the strength to power through the week and get you excited for some serious Instagram-worthy shots.
Expect a whole heap of new, wacky and deliciously inventive creations of the tasty sweet treat that will make you drool uncontrollably.
From oozy Nutella to Oreo spiked doughnuts, matcha to maple bacon and fairy floss goods, the Day of the Doughnut is going to be nothing short of amazing.
