Foodies, it's official, the gourmet goddess is returning to our shores for Western Australia's world-renowned food festival, Gourmet Escape.

“I’ve always wanted to go to Western Australia because I haven't been there and everyone just sings the praises of the produce there,” the loveable cookbook author said.

Speaking about Australian food, Lawson said she loves it for its boldness and lack of pretension. “It’s got a vibrancy and a freshness, and an originality… which is quite direct and honest, but the flavours are just so good,” she said.
