Ash Pollard: ‘These are the meltiest Melting Moments ever’

I’m going to be brutally honest here - I’ve never actually bought a good Melting Moment. You see them in jars in cafés but when you buy them they taste gross, they don’t melt.

Well, this week I’m going to teach you how to make one that’s gorgeous and melting in the mouth like they should be.

For me, Melting Moments bring back really fond memories of when I travelled down to Hobart to visit my grandparents. My nan would get out all her beautiful china and we’d sit there and drink tea and have biscuits.

And really, when it comes to the classics, you can’t go past a Melting Moment. Home made and not mass-produced is what it’s all about.

This recipe is all mine. I have these random cravings and memories come into my head of times from the past and that’s why I chose this recipe because at some point over the last year, that memory came back to me, and I thought my gosh, I should really try and cook that.
