Say hello to Gaynetto: A Golden Gaytime crossed with a Cornetto!

The Gaynetto has everything you love about the classic Aussie ice cream in the form of a Cornetto.

You've got the caramel ice cream and those heavenly crunchy bits of the Gaytime combined perfectly with all the best bits of a Cornetto, such as the creamy vanilla ice cream, the crisp chocolate drizzle and of course, that delicious, iconic waffle cone.

Golden Gaytime announced on their Facebook page yesterday that the ice cream hybrid had touched down in Oz and is now available from all corner stores and Woolworths supermarkets.

"You'll never regretto going Gaynetto!!" They captioned the image.

The internet went crazy when it discovered the confectionary company would be combing two of their favourite childhood summer treats and went to town on social media showing their support for the new product.

One Facebook user commented: "Can't wait to get my paws on one of these!"

"Find me this. Nowwwwwwwwww," another wrote.

"I just wee'd a lil," someone confessed.

Some fans couldn't believe their eyes and had to double check that this creation wasn't a hoax! ".......is this real.....?!!" one Facebook user asked.

On Instagram, ice cream fans were over the moon and felt the pairing was meant to be.

"Cross breed winner," one Instagram user said.

"Ice cream gods have delivered," another wrote

"This is AMAZING! Must try! another commented.
