This robot cocktail maker is our drinking dreams come true

There's no doubting cocktails are delicious, but when it comes to making them at home, sometimes the effort involved just isn't enough for the reward.

Thankfully, we live in an age of incredible technological advances and someone has finally invented a cocktail robot to do the dirty work for us.

Meet the Somabar, aka your robotic bartender. Currently in its final phases of manufacturing, this conveniently app controlled mini bar has a menu with over 300 cocktails to choose from.

The process seems pretty simple. You scroll through the menu on your phone, choose your cocktail, customise ingredients and alcohol content (for those boozehounds and lightweights amongst us) and push a button. Voila, the Somabar has your drink ready in seconds.

While there's no word yet on when this genius drink dispenser will be available for purchase, it's definitely a case of watch this space...
