Life hack expert Dan Marshall has revealed there’s one easy trick to age your bottle of cheap wine by five years at the push of a button.

Simple put it in the blender and whizz for 30 seconds.

What this does is aerate your wine and improve the flavour, with experts saying this can soften the tannins which can make your wine taste dry.

“Decanting was traditionally done to separate the settlements from the wine so you wouldn’t end up with hunks of grape skin in your glass or your teeth,” vineyard owner Marcy Roth told Good Morning America.

“It also opens up the wine and aerates it, allowing more of the flavour and aromas to come forth and to show their most finessed polish side.”
