Hungry Jack's drive-thru ‘Brekk-E-Tag’ means you no longer have to talk in the mornings

Not only are the burgers better at Hungry Jacks, but now the service is miles ahead too.

If you're the type of person who loves nothing better than a BBQ Breakkie Wrap and a coffee in the morning but you can't deal with the small talk, you now don't have to open your mouth to order your food, thanks to Hungry Jacks.

The much-loved fast food joint has created the ‘Brekk-E-Tag’ so you never need to manually order your favourite breakfast again.

Just like an e-tag you use for toll roads, you attach the 'Breakk-E-Tag' to your windshield and it remembers your order.

The next time you go through the drive-thru there's no need to speak into the intercom as the tag will remember your order and it will be waiting for you at the end.

However the e-tag won't solve all your morning laziness issues just yet as you still need to pay for the order and that will of course involve some human conversation.

But before you race out to get your tag, it's currently only being trialled in one Hungry Jack's outlet in Tumbi Umbi restaurant on the NSW central coast.

Speaking to 9News Hungry Jack’s Chief Marketing Officer, Scott Baird said: “Customers go through the Hungry Jack’s drive-thru not only for the great-tasting food but also because it is convenient and quick, we’re always striving for ways to make that experience even better."

“We can’t wait to see how our customers respond to the technology and hopefully soon we’ll see it in more of our restaurants across the country.”
