Why McDonald’s coke tastes better than other fast food chains

There’s just something so refreshing about a coke from Mickey D’s.

And while some might argue all coke tastes the same, others would say that McDonald’s have perfected their mixture for the soft drink.

For those who have ever wondered exactly what goes into making it so damn good, the Gods at McDonald’s explained just how complex the process is in achieving the perfect taste.

According to its website, McDonald’s follows the steps set out by Coca-Cola to ensure its flavor tastes the same as the contents within a bottle.

While other fast food chains might deliver the coke in plastic bags, McDonald’s opts for stainless steel tanks to lock in the freshness.

In addition, the liquid is circulated through a chilled tubing system to prevent the drink from every going stale.

“The water and Coca-Cola syrup are pre-chilled before entering our fountain dispensers with the ratio of syrup set up to allow for ice to melt,” the fastfood giant wrote on their site.

“We also keep our fountain beverage system cold so your drink can always be at the peak of refreshing.”
