How to make brown bananas yellow again

In a video that’s gone viral (again) Youtuber Brandon Queen explains how a few simple steps using things you have in your home make this the easiest hack ever.

Brandon can be seen taking a rotten banana and putting it in a ziplock bag filled with rice to get rid of moisture.

“This is very much like the concept of putting a cellphone that has been dipped in water inside of rice,” he explains.

After letting it sit for an hour, the banana still looks the same – but here’s where the hairdryer comes in.

Set your hairdryer to a warm setting, blowdry your banana and voila – the bright yellow colour comes back.
