Vegetarian’s outrage over ‘bean' burger
Vegetarians can sometimes struggle to find something they can eat at restaurants, but you think you would be pretty safe ordering a bean burger, right?
Wrong.
One Twitter user has shared a hilarious photo of what one diner was served up when they ordered what they assumed to be a bean-based veggie patty.
Someone on the Northern Ireland Vegan/Veggie group said they ordered a bean burger and got this. £9! I can't stop laughing pic.twitter.com/LbwzguDAtm

Twitter user Alanah posted the snap they found on the Northern Ireland Vegan and Vegetarian Facebook group revealing the unlucky orderer was forced to shell out $15 for their burger with a scoop of baked beans on top.
To make matters worse, it’s believed the burger underneath was a normal meat patty.
I'm assuming that's an actual burger underneath but I also feel like the chef didn't even google what a bean burger is

Lucky the burger was served with a salad and chips - possibly the only thing guaranteed to be vego on that plate.
That disastrous excuse of a veggie burger comes following news that even McDonald's is set to cater for the plant-loving set, with the company trialling the McVegan.
The soy-based burger comes with all the standard Macca's fare, but in sad news for Aussie vegans, is only available in Finland at the moment.
