We found a 1600kg giant gingerbread train
Christmas has officially come early.
Celeb chef Anna Polyviou has gone and made the Chrissy treat of our dreams with her giant gingerbread train.
The four-metre masterpiece is on show at Anna’s pastry dessert pop-up at the Sydney Shangri-La and you can literally smell the spicy goodness before you can see it.
The former MasterChef contestant’s outdone herself this year, leading her team of elves to create the train by combining 1000kg of gingerbread bricks, 500kg of lollies, 100kg of fondant and a buttload of icing.
“It’s important for our guests to get that magical feeling and I love that parents get just as excited as kids when they see the size and fun of the train,” Anna said.
If you’re keen to get your chops around some gingerbread sweets and Anna’s countless other yummy pastries, hit up The Festive High Tea at the Lobby Lounge, Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney.
We’re on a sugar high just thinking about it.
