Nutella kebab is the next dessert on the must-eat list
Just when you thought the food hybrid trend was slowing down, another weird yet wonderful creation like the ‘Tellabab’ comes along.
Who else would come up with this wacky Nutella-laced idea other than the dessert crazies at Dulwich Hill’s Tella Balls Dessert Bar.
“Introducing the all new "Tellabab!" It's a dessert kebab! A home made doughnut pita bread filled with milk and white chocolate shavings straight off the rotisserie, fresh strawberries, fresh banana, fresh house made whipped cream and lashings of Nutella!” they captioned their recent Instagram photo of the delight.

This is the sweet version of the savoury doner kebab - a much loved favourite of late night loiterers.
Just like chicken carved off a rotisserie, they shave milk and white Belgium chocolate off a 13 kilogram log rotating on a spit that was custom made for the cafe.
Owner Aki Daikos told Good Food the chocolate log is a huge trend in the United Arab Emirates and that he’s pretty certain they are the only one’s in Oz making the unique sweet treat.
Having grown up on yiros as kid with Greek origins, Daikos said, "It's always been a dream of mine to create a dessert version. A 360 degree view of that chocolate log just turning is amazing."
Known for their world famous doughnuts, the Tella Balls, Daikos wanted to create their own doughnut pita bread, and that they did… and more!
For $10, the Tellabab will be available from Thursday June 2 at the Tella Balls Dessert Bar.
