Cooking with your mouth is disgusting new trend
If your New Year’s resolution was to experiment more in the kitchen, here’s one new trend you might want to be a bit wary of.
A Youtube clip titled ‘Cooking with your mouth’ has surfaced and the demo has left the internet stumped and horrified.
The clip shows a woman who introduces herself as Riva Godfrey showing how to mix together turkey stuffing by chewing each ingredient in her mouth and spitting it into a mixing bowl.
From crunching into an onion, stripping parsley with her teeth, cracking an egg into her mouth and warming a chunk of butter with her saliva, this is one how-to we’re not keen to replicate at home.
She even crunches into a clove of garlic, admitting it’s “really hurting my tongue”.
Judging by the reactions, Twitter didn’t appreciate the demo.

Honestly I was expecting her to take a gnaw at that raw carcas first because apparently “cooking with your mouth” just means shoving things in your mouth BEFORE the oven. https://t.co/aeqLJUflvL

However, it’s since been revealed the video was posted by London-based artist Nathan Ceddia and was filmed in the “name of art”.
“I myself love cooking but I’m not so fond of knives, and the thought of chopping off a finger frightens the hell out of me,” he told the Daily Mail.
“I decided the only way to relieve this anxiety and to make the kitchen safe again would be to create a new style of cooking.”
