Fast food chain admits to using oven chips

If diving face first into a bag of hot chips from your favourite fast food chain is your idea of heaven, here’s some news that might come as a shock.

For those who head to Nando's for a cheat meal of burger and chips, a new report has revealed there’s a secret behind their delicious fries – and it might make you want to re-think shelling out for the privilege of chowing down on them.

“The chips served at Nando's are actually supplied by McCain,” reports the Leicester Mercury.

In dangerous news that could see us bulk buy bags of frozen chips and set up camp on the couch, the chicken chain doesn’t rely on fresh cut potatoes for their fries, instead using a shortcut to get their crispy chips like we do.
