Gaga claps back at Super Bowl body shamers

Apparently some people thought Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl show was more about the way her midsection looked than the jaw-dropping quality of her performance. But the woman herself isn’t having any of it.

The superstar has clapped right back at haters via Instagram, telling them she she’s proud of her body and nothing they say can will change her mind about it.

“I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too. No matter who you are or what you do,” she wrote.

“I could give you a million reasons why you don't need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you. That's the stuff of champions.”

After months of training for her spectacular performance featuring aerial manoeuvres and a dazzling dance routine, Gaga is now arguably in the best shape of her life.

But that wasn't good enough for some, with trolls jumping online, keyboards at the ready, to pick at the singer over what they decided was an unacceptably soft midsection.
