The final season of Game of Thrones isn’t set to air until 2019, but many fans are convinced Maisie Williams – who plays Arya Stark in the hit series – has just given away a massive spoiler.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the actress posted a rather cryptic photo of a pair of bloody shoes, also saying “goodbye” to Arya.
But it was a simple hashtag in the caption of the photo – #lastwomanstanding – which sent many fans into overdrive.
Co-star Lena Headey – who plays Cersei Lannister – also added fuel to the fire commenting on the photo “QUEEN” with a series of emojis.

Now, Maisie could simply be referring to herself as the “last woman standing” in terms of filming and Lena may just been leaving a supportive comment to her co-star.
But that’s not what Game of Thrones fans are thinking at all.
“Does that mean the House of Stark and Targaryen rules the seven kingdoms????” one fan commented.
“WHAT. If this is what I think it means I’m going to be so happy,” another added.
Is Arya the only one to make it out alive? And does that leave Sansa Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, Queen Cersei and others are at risk?
However, other fans weren’t convinced by this spoiler theory.
One follower was certain Jon Snow was to “rule the 7 [Kingdoms] in the end”.
And another just pointed out they wouldn’t be allowed to reveal any spoilers.
“No way she would be able to say that! Maybe like last one to finish filming,” they commented.
We will just have to sit back tight and wait until next year to find out.
