Their mum is a kickass human rights lawyer and their dad is one of the highest paid Hollywood stars, so it’s a slight understatement to say that George and Amal Clooney’s unborn twins will have the absolute best of everything.
According to a new report, the best of everything comes to a whopping cost of $3.3 million which is what the new parents are said to be dropping on the twins’ ultra-luxe nursery.
From the royal family-favoured Silver Cross Aston Martin pram, which retails at nearly $6000, to Gucci changing bags at $2450 a pop, it’s going to be designer all the way for these babies according to Woman’s Day.
Amal, 39, is expecting a boy and a girl, and aside from having her eye on gold paneled cribs costing $5,700 each, there’s even more expenses the first time-parents are happy to be dishing out.
“They’ll be splashing more cash than usual on extra security (estimated at $1.3 million), at least four nannies ($435,000), and a specialty chef to source and prepare delicious baby suitable meals,” the magazine reveals.
George and Amal aren’t the only ones excitedly preparing for the birth.
Amal’s mum Baria was spotted shopping for vintage children’s books in London shortly before the couple announced their happy news.
While there’s no word on how the couple will split their time between George’s $64 million Lake Como villa and their lavish mansion in the British countryside, there’s no doubting the excited parents will be well and truly prepared when the twins do finally make their appearance.
"They can't believe in just a few months, they're going to have two babies,” a source told In Touch Weekly.
“They're having so much fun looking at all the latest baby gadgets and getting everything ready for the twins. They're going to be such amazing parents.”
