Ghost hunter captures eerie figure at London castle

A paranormal investigator thinks he’s captured a ghost on camera while exploring the historic Tower of London in the UK.

Mark Vernon, 52, was panning his camera across the side of the castle when an unusual grey blur can be seen at the top of the screen.

It looks like a smudge at first, but it moves up and out of shot as Mark tries to follow its movements.

Believing he captured the entity of a lost soul from the tower, Mark said he was definitely getting some spooky vibes from the place – as you would if you’re a professional ghost hunter.

“I could feel the presence,” he explained, “it’s like a little electrical shock when a presence comes close to me. That’s why I started filming.”

“I could see it through the camera and I followed its trajectory.

“I was a little bit unlucky as my battery ran out on the camera as I was filming but my reaction was pretty calm as I often film stuff like this.”

The historic castle is located in the centre of London and was used as a prison for 800 years in the 12th century.

It was also the place where Anne Boleyn was beheaded, and is said to be haunted. Watch Mark’s video above and make up your own mind.
