Grant Denyer’s weekend didn’t start out in the best way, however, a quick note on Instagram has confirmed it’s getting better.

Yesterday, the former Family Feud star had to rush his eldest daughter Sailor to hospital after she had an accident at home.

Today, the 2DAYFM brekkie host took to Instagram to say that Sailor was on the mend.

“My little girl is on the mend,” he wrote. “Sailor had her MRI & good news is, she checks out ok.”

“She’s still suffering some effects of the concussion but thankfully nothing structurally wrong. Thanks for the messages Who would have known cartwheels could be so hectic!!”

In another post yesterday, Grant said the seven-year-old had “unsuccessfully” tried to do a backflip at home, which resulted in a late night trip to the emergency room.

“Uh oh,” the 40-year-old wrote, alongside a photo of him and his daughter waiting to see a doctor and a red siren emoji.

“Someone did their first cartwheel into a backflip. Unsuccessfully. Suspected concussion,” he added.

Grant, who also has three-year-old Scout with wife Chezzi, is a proud dad and regularly shares photos of his daughters on his social media pages.
