Gwyneth Paltrow reveals ex Brad Pitt threatened to 'kill' Weinstein

Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that she’ll always “love” her ex Brad Pitt because he defended her when Harvey Weinstein once made an unwanted advance at her.

The actress revealed her former partner was so furious about the incident in 1995, he threw the now disgraced movie maker against a wall and told him “I’ll kill you”.

“He said, ‘If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I’ll kill you,’ or something like that… It was great,” she said whilst speaking on The Howard Stern Show.

“It was so fantastic, because what he did was he leveraged his fame and power to protect me at a time when I didn’t have fame or power yet,” she added. “He’s the best.”

Gwyneth, who was 22 at the time, has previously spoken about her encounter with Weinstein, describing how he’d made an unwanted advance on her in a hotel room whilst working on Emma.

Despite standing up for herself, she said she felt “afraid” because she had signed up for two more movies with the producer, including the Oscar winning Shakespeare In Love.

The mum-of-two — who recently became engaged to Brad Falchuk — started dating Brad after they met while working on Seven in 1994. They later got engaged, but broke up in 1997.

However she revealed in her chat with Howard that she will always “love” her ex because of the way he fearlessly leapt to her defence.

“I love him for this,” she said, adding that she had been “shaken” by the way she claims she was treated by Weinstein before Brad took action.

Brad, 46, has previously spoken about the confrontation, confirming he did protect his then-girlfriend after she claimed Weinstein sexually propositioned her.

The story first came to light in October 2017 when Gwyneth bravely came forward as one of Weinstein’s many alleged victims, which also includes Brad’s ex-wife Angelina Jolie.

Weinstein has denied all allegations against him.
