I think it’s safe to say that everyone who watched the royal wedding was filled with love after witnessing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tie the knot over the weekend.
From their adoring gazes at each other throughout the ceremony to Prince Harry rubbing his new bride’s hand as they sat together and that passionate kiss on the steps of St George’s chapel, it was very clear to all that this couple are besotted with each other.
Body language expert Judi James agrees, explaining how the couple’s body language on the day tells us pretty much everything we need to know about what they’ll be like together in the future.
If you noticed Prince Harry constantly taking the new Duchess of Sussex’s hand and rubbing it in his and wondered why, Judi claims it’s because the couple are still in the honeymoon phase of their relationship.
Speaking to The Sun, she also claimed that the touching may signify a way the future couple may commutate silently with each other when they’re in public.
Judi believes Harry looking at his wife and rubbing her fingers may also be a way for him to let her know he craving affection and attention when they’re at official engagements together.
Throughout the ceremony, it was hard to miss the newlyweds taking long glances and giggling at each other, a gesture Judi said could signify that they have an incredible ‘rapport’ and respect for each other.
It was also no doubt a way of reassuring each other, especially when you considering they were being watched by millions of people all over the world.
Judi claims that it’s very different to how Prince William and Kate Middleton operate, with the couple usually mirroring their stances instead of looking at each other.
As for the moment the couple appeared on the steps of St George’s Chapel after saying ‘I do’, Judi claims Meghan would have used her experience as an actress to make it go as seamlessly as possible.
“Instead of delaying the big moment, which can cause clumsiness or nerves, they kissed as soon as they appeared,” she said.
“Meghan murmured to him to lead the moment, and Harry seemed to have used a screen tip as he placed a tender, even-handed kiss on her lips.
“He kissed towards her lower lip, which can help avoid crucial lipgloss-smudging.”
