'Heartbroken' Thomas Markle thinks he'll never see Meghan Markle again

Thomas Markle has revealed he’s worried he’ll never see his daughter, Meghan Markle, ever again.

The 73-year-old, who dramatically pulled out of his the Duchess of Sussex’s May 19th wedding after suffering a heart attack, is reportedly telling friends he’s ‘heartbroken’ over the rift between him and the royal couple.

“I haven’t talked to Meghan and Harry for a long time. I think they’re shot of me now,” Thomas allegedly told pals, according to The Mirror .

His comments come after he appeared on Good Morning Britain last month, which was thought to have come as a huge shock to everyone at Kensington Palace.

During his interview, Thomas, who lives in Mexico, talked about how upset he was to miss his 36-year-old daughter’s wedding and how ‘jealous’ he was of Prince Charles getting to walk her down the aisle.

“I can’t think of a better replacement than someone like Prince Charles,” he told Good Morning Britain.

“He looked very handsome and my daughter looked beautiful with him.”

“I was jealous,” he added.

“I wish I had been there, I wish it had been me but thank god he was there and I thank him for that.”

Just this week, Thomas again courted controversy when he told TMZ that he would be put out if the Queen refused to meet him.

“If the Queen is willing to meet our arrogant, ignorant and insensitive President she has no excuse not to meet me,” he said.

“I’m nowhere near as bad.”

Royal biographer Andrew Morton, who wrote the book, Diana: Her True Story and Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, claimed this week that there is “gap that will not be bridged” between Thomas and Meghan thanks to “his behaviour.”

“Talk about [a] loose cannon,” Andrew told Yahoo UK, during episode three of The Royal Box

“He makes a lot of wrong decisions, and he made a big wrong decision shortly before the wedding.

“There’s a gap that will not be bridged.”
