The heartwarming reason Kim Kardashian met Donald Trump
Kim Kardashian raised a few eyebrows when she was pictured alongside US President Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday.
Despite facing a huge backlash over their meeting, there is in fact a heartwarming reason the reality TV star and beauty mogul stood side-by-side with the controversial leader of America.
It turns out, Kim is on a passionate quest to get a 63-year-old great-grandmother, Alice Marie Johnson, pardoned over long-standing drug charges.
Alice has been behind bars for more than two decades for a first-time drug offence and Kim took her issues with the conviction straight to the big man himself.
Trump appeared to be happy with the outcome of their chat, sharing a photo of them in the Oval Office and confirming their meeting was “great.”
And Kim, who was accompanied by attorney Shawn Holley, responded by thanking Trump for his “time” much to the dismay of her fans.

Their meeting however shocked many, with people taking to Twitter in hordes to slam the mum-of-three.

Others however were championing the TV star, praising her for speaking out and trying to “help” Alice.

Kim and Trump have had issues for years after he publicly made crude comments about her body, calling it “bad,” saying she has a “fat ass”.
Despite the president’s remarks, Kim — who publicly supported Hillary Clinton during the election — put her best foot forward in an attempt to help Alice Johnson, and for that she deserves a medal.
