Hilarious parenting hack goes viral

Every parent knows the feeling – there are things you want to get done, but you have a small human to look after at the same time – and the small human refuses to let you put it down.

As far as we know, though, this may be the first time anyone's ever solved the problem by using their bike shorts as a makeshift baby sling.

When Claudia Sorhaindo had to get a few errands done, she left her baby daughter Ava in the capable hands of her niece, J'Ann.

"So I had to run out the house for a quick min, so I asked my niece to babysit Baby Ava," Sorhaindo explained in a Facebook post.

"A few min later I received a text saying that J'Ann wanted to make a sandwich but didn't want to let baby Ava out of her sight... Lord send help this was her solution
