Home and Away teen suffers brain swelling after head concussion
Home and Away actress Olivia Deeble is recovering in hospital after hitting her head and suffering swelling to her brain.
Taking to Instagram, the 16-year-old, who plays Raffy Morrison on the popular TV show, has shared she sustained a major injury a few days earlier.
“Hey guys, a couple of days ago I hit my head and was concussed with brain swelling,” she wrote in her social media post.
“I’m fairly crook at the moment and have been to hospital a couple of times but slowly improving. I won’t be on social media a lot due to the fact I’m sleeping like 12 hours a day but wanted to let you all know I’m still here and am trying to get better as soon as possible.
“Thanks for the constant support love you all lots x (also thanks mum for taking photos of me passed out…),” she added.
Olivia’s Home and Away co-stars and other friends from the entertainment industry were quick to show their support and wish the young actress a speedy recovery.

“Sending lots of love and love healing vibes beautiful,” wrote Penny McNamee.
“Please take your time getting back into everything. Love you sweetheart,” read Georgie Parker’s message.
Olivia landed the role of Raffy Morrison on Home and Away in late 2016, and it’s no surprised she scored such a gig at a young age as acting is in her blood.
Not only is she the granddaughter of The Sullivans’ Reg Gorman, but her mother Kate Gorman played Sue Parker on Neighbours.
