He’s famous for pushing the boundaries and 'Human Ken Doll' Rodrigo Alves is at it again, this time undergoing a serious makeover to raise awareness for gender fluidity.
The 34-year-old, who has spent $880,000 on countless plastic surgery procedures, has filmed himself transforming into Barbie, complete with a black corset, nipple tassels and heels.
“My family, they always let me choose what toys to play with, for example, they would buy me a Barbie doll if I wanted it,” Rodrigo says in a video of his makeover.
“I would wear my grandmother’s dresses at the age of seven, and play with [the Barbie].”
The Brazilian native has had 60 plastic surgeries and 103 cosmetic procedures, which include pec implants, a fake six-pack, fillers to his arms, various nose jobs, calf shaping and a bum lift.
His latest surgery saw him remove four ribs, and it’s left him vowing that’s his last time under the knife.
“I have had a fair amount of plastic surgery and I’m not planning to have any more plastic surgery – I think that I am done,” he says.
Rodrigo admits he’d love to launch a new fashion trend of men wearing corsets under blazers, and wants everyone to explore their creativity when it comes to gender stereotypes.
“I would like to bring awareness of freedom of expression and gender fluid community, which has always been out there, but hasn’t been understood,” he says.
“It has nothing to do with sexuality or sexual preference, it has to do with how you express yourself.”
