Husband finds engagement ring 9 years after wife loses it
It’s every newly engaged couple’s worst nightmare – the bride-to-be somehow losing her ring, without a clue where it could have fallen off, and being in a foreign country, no less.

New Jersey couple Justin and Margaret Mussel were enjoying a trip to San Marco dei Cavoti in Italy – where Margaret’s family have a home - in 2008 when the ring went missing.
“Earlier that day we had visited Pompeii and it was extremely hot,' Justin told the Asbury Park Press.
With the hot weather playing havoc with Margaret’s fingers and the new ring needing to be resized, the 1.1 carat white gold diamond ring slipped off – and no amount of searching could bring it back.
The couple scoured the family home as well, but not having any idea when the ring went missing, gave up.
Fast forward nine years and two sons later, Margaret and Justin – who now live in that same Italian town – managed to pull off the find of a lifetime after they somehow uncovered the ring.
The couple were sitting in their front yard earlier this month when a glint in the sunlight caught Justin's eye.
With his eye drawn to a crack in a nearby pavement, Justin dug around with a screwdriver and miraculously unearthed the long lost ring.
“The band is a little scuffed up, but not too bad,' Margaret told the Daily Mail.
“The diamond looks good. If you saw it, you wouldn't think it was in a crack for nine years.”
