Identical twin sisters marry matching men in shared wedding

Brittany and Briana Deane are identical twins who have always loved matching, even on their wedding day.

When they tied the knot recently in a huge double wedding, they made sure everything from their dresses to their makeup was exactly the same.

But the ladies took their love of twinning to new heights by making sure the guys at the end of the altar matched perfectly too.

“It’s really been a fairytale come true,” Briana told People. “Marrying twins is something that’s very important to us.”

The girls met their new husbands — identical twin brothers Jeremy and Josh Slater — at Twins Days, a festival for multiples in Ohio last year.

And luckily for them, the guys shared the same ideals of wanting to fall in love with twins too.

“I think that they experienced a lot of the same challenges dating what we call singletons, that means non-twins,” Brittany said, explaining it was tough when someone doesn’t “understand the twin bond”.

The coordinating couples married at the festival a year after they met in a ‘Twice Upon a Time’ theme after the 34-year-old brothers proposed at the park where they had their first date.

But while some brides may hate to share the spotlight, Brittany and Briana were overjoyed at the thought of sharing their special day.

“We have done so much in life together. Having twin loves of our lives and to accept their marriage proposal at the same time made it that much more special,” Brittany added.

Their love of living a shared life didn’t end at the altar, with the couples moving in together after the wedding.

When the newlyweds decide to have kids, Brittany admitted their future little ones will share an extra special bond thanks to their matching DNA.

“My and Josh’s children will be genetic siblings to Briana and Jeremy’s children,” she said. “Even though they’re cousins, they’re technically genetic siblings.”

The wedding was filmed for a TLC special that will be aired next year, where you can catch all the mirrored magic.

Talk about taking twinning to the extreme.
