Inside the hottest Grammy afterparties

Last night was the music industry's night of nights, with Adele taking out all five of her nominations, Beyoncé’s unborn twins making their stage debut and Lady Gaga setting the stage on fire with rock legends Metallica.

But the wild times didn't stop there.

After the show at LA's Staples Centre wrapped, the stars fanned out across the city, hitting the city’s multiple VIP afterparties to celebrate the big wins of the evening.

Lady Gaga kicked on with rock ’n’ roll vibes at Interscope's Grammy AfterParty at Peppermint Club. In her leather mini-dress, fishnet stockings and signature sky-scrapper heels, Gaga showed off her lightning moves with Grease star John Travolta.

While she let loose with John, it was her her new beau and agent Christian Carino that the Born This Way singer sent most of her time with, introducing him to all her famous friends, according to E! News.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z were also spotted boogying at Interscope’s party, celebrating Bey’s Grammy win and jaw-dropping performance.

The Formation singer sported a stunning sequined red dress that perfectly hugged her burgeoning baby bump and accessorised with a plunging gold and diamond necklace.

You’d think being a celebrity immediately gets you access to all the exclusive parties in town. But that wasn’t the case for poor Ed Sheeran.

Despite being a two-time Grammy winner, the Shape Of You singer was refused entry into Warner Music Group's Annual Grammy Celebration at Milk Studios.

The Warner party was apparently at capacity and bouncers “weren’t letting anyone in… They pulled a wall over to block the red carpet,” an insider told E! News.

Billboard Music reports that Ed ended up at a house party held at producer Benny Blanco's in the Hollywood Hills instead.

According to TMZ, actor Adrien Brody and English DJ Pete Tong were also turned down. However, some celebs did manage to squeeze their way in, including Twenty One Pilots' Tyler Joseph, Charli XCX, Entourage’s Adrian Grenier, Ciara and her beau Russell Wilson.

While some stars’ were refused VIP treatment, others seemed to have too good of a night, rolling home early after one too many celebratory cocktails.

Model Chrissy Teigen and husband John Legend kicked off their post-Grammy shenanigans at GQ and Chance The Rapper's bash at Chateau Marmont. Luna’s mum turned heads in a silky burnt orange gown complete with dazzling gold jewellery.

She and John clearly had a good time because their night ended in the kitchen on the floor with two bowls of instant ramen.

Known for keeping it real on Snapchat, Chrissy captured her drunken moments at home and shared them with her fans on the app.

In one of the videos she says she’s about to tuck into a midnight snack of ramen. The next thing you know, Chrissy is on the floor seeing double, saying “I'm on the floor. And John is in charge of taking my jewellery off. Take it off,” she demands.

She then asks him if he’s “mad” at her for getting “drunk” and John gives the best response: “Why would I be mad at you, you're perfect.” Aww!
