The internet is convinced this dog is singing an iconic Britney Spears song

Ah the internet. It’s the wonderful place we find fabulous memes relating to our lives, the next bizarre Instagram trend and the next viral sensation.

Well, leave it to social media to uncover a dog which sounds alarmingly similar to Britney Spears.

Matt, the owner of pup Riley, posted a video to Twitter which has got people online going crazy.

“Is it just me or does Riley sound like he’s singing Toxic by Britney Spears?” Matt said on Twitter.

And, oh boy, Riley certainly does give us ‘Toxic’ vibes circa 2003.

The video has since gone viral with over four million views, 150,000 retweets and 380,000 likes.

Even better, someone edited the dog in the exact place where the pup is singing (or howling…) the song and it is EVERYTHING.
