Bachelor Jarrod vacates his family home but ex Keira stays

Bachelor In Paradise star Jarrod Woodgate is trying his best to get on with business as usual after news of his split from Keira Maguire emerged over the weekend.

Spotted out and about in Melbourne for the first time since the breakup, the reality star confirmed the pair were no longer staying together.

“I live out on the farm, she lives in Melbourne,” he said, revealing his ex “got back today” and is “at home”.

Keira’s car was seen parked outside Jarrod’s parents’ house in Brighton.

Despite calling time on their romance which Bachelor In Paradise fans have followed over the past few months, Jarrod says he and Keira still keep in contact.

“We’re still talking. Always talking,” he said.

On Tuesday night Keira shared a very telling message on her Instagram stories.

“Love yourself first, so you know what you deserve,” read the quote.

Days earlier she took to Instagram to confirm it was over between the two.

“It is with a very sad heart, but I have to let you all know that Jarrod and I have split up,” she wrote.

“I’m sorry if anyone is disappointed.”

Fans of the pair were devastated by the news with many taking to the comments section to share their reactions.

“So sorry to hear that. Hope you’re both okay,” one person wrote.

“I hope you both sort things out and get back together again. I loved watching you both build your relationship,” another person wrote.

“This breaks my heart,” was another comment.

The split comes as somewhat of a shock, with Keira still posting loved up photos with Jarrod up until two weeks ago.

The reality TV couple’s romance went public in January, when they were photographed getting cozy on a beach together, months before Bachelor In Paradise had even aired.

As soon as the finale screened in late April, Keira confirmed she would move from Sydney to Melbourne to spend time with Jarrod on his vineyard.
