Jen says no to Friends reunion

Despite seemingly endless talks of a Friends reunion, Jennifer Aniston says the series wouldn't work nowadays, and the actress has some solid reasons to back her argument.

The 47-year-old believes that 'coffee shop' gatherings, that appeared in practically ever Friends episode, don't exist anymore, and instead people are more interested in socialising through their phones.

"There was something about a time where our faces weren't stuffed into cell phones," she said in an interview with Lorraine Kelly for her show Lorraine.

"We weren't checking Facebooks and Instagrams. We were in a room together, in a coffee shop together. We were talking, having conversations. We have lost that."

Jen starred in the 10-season series from 1994-2004 alongside Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.

The actress reunited with her fellow cast members earlier this year (minus Matthew Perry) on NBC as a tribute to legendary director James Burrows.

Jen spoke about how playing Rachel in the show changed her life.

"We experienced friendship, family, heartbreak, babies, everything, together. And we also had a wonderful experience with the world loving us as well," she said at the time.

"We just really fell in love and adored each other instantly and would hang out at each others houses and watch the show together."

While her recent Lorraine interview reflected on her famed Friends role, an interview given to Ellen DeGeneres earlier this week was more related to Jen's personal life.

The wife of Justin Theroux revealed she joined the mile high club to Ellen DeGeneres.

During the segment on The Ellen Show, the pair played ‘Never Have I Ever', which is when Jen unveiled her naughty secret.
