Despite going to desperate attempts to keep their relationship private, Jennifer Lawrence and Darren Aronofsky have engaged in some very public gushing about one another.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the 27-year-old actress called her 48-year-old director beau “brilliant”.
“He’s just brilliant,” she said. “Incredibly instinctual.”
The Oscar winner continued her appraisal of her new lover and went on to explain just why she thinks he’s so great: “His point of view, his artistic uniqueness.”
Darren was also incredibly complimentary when it came to his ladylove, calling her a “once-in-a-generation talent.”
He continued: “I don’t know what makes her great – maybe it was her parents, maybe it was the Kentucky water,” he joked. “I have no idea, but she’s, like, a once-in-a-generation talent, and just a whirlwind and a hurricane and an earthquake and a thunderstorms of talent.”
When it came to mixing their personal and professional life, Darren said there were no issues: “She’s very, very relaxed. She’s the type of actor that turns off all the intensity when she’s not shooting, and then flips it on when she needs it.”
Their film, Mother!, is a psychological thriller and has recieved mixed reviews.
Jennifer has revealed she truly suffered for her art and ended up tearing her diaphram and hurting her rib during filming.
Speaking to reporters at the Toronto International Film Festival, she said: "I popped my chest rib and I tore my diaphragm. It actually took a long time to heal but emotionally I was better as soon as we finished that scene and we could just go home and drink wine."
