Everyone loves a good holiday getaway, the only part of the whole process which isn’t particularly fun is the airplane, especially the pre-made food on the flight.
But an unexpected celebrity may have the answer to all your problems to make your plane food taste somewhat edible.
Jude Law to the rescue, or perhaps his friend British chef Jason Atherton who’s the one who spilled the beans on the actor’s travel hack.
One word: Tabasco.
- The Clooneys’ role in Brad and Ange’s custody battle
- The trick to looking fresh after a flight is cheaper than you think
“It was [Jude] Law who told me to always take Tabasco on a plane,” the chef told Bloomberg in a recent interview. “Airplane food is always bland, so it’s great to give it kick.”
Jason, 46, detests the taste of airplane food so much he tries to avoid it at all costs and if he has to eat – for example, when he comes to Australia – Tabasco is his saving grace.
“I just eat the protein, drowned in Tabasco, which tastes OK – well, it tastes of Tabasco to be honest.”
The only problem with this hack is, if you hate spicy food or just hate Tabasco, it probably isn’t the condiment to solve your airplane food problems.
Perhaps another celebrity may have a genius condiment hack. Anyone?
