Julia Morris: Why I had to delete a bikini photo
Julia Morris is known for giving people a belly load of laughs.
But when she shared a snap of herself in a bikini two years ago, the I’m A Celebrity host’s own stomach became the centre of a huge controversy.
The 50-year-old has revealed the seemingly harmless holiday photo sparked accusations that she’d had weight loss surgery, and as a result she was forced to delete it from her feed.
“I put it online and it blew up. It blew up badly!’ she told Hit105’s Stav, Abby and Matt.
Julia went on to tell the radio hosts she’s had 28 moles removed — which has left small marks on her skin — and gave online users ammunition to believe she’s had her “stomach stapled”.
“I was like, ‘if I had had my stomach stapled I would have been wearing it like a badge, I would have been showing people the staples,’ you know what I mean…she said. “I don’t do things and not tell people.”
At the time, Julia’s reps denied that she’d ever had weight loss surgery, but it didn’t calm the storm.
Thankfully, Julia hasn’t let the comments affect her and she was seen during her stint in the jungle in some seriously glamorous outfits.
She’s also hilariously shared snaps of herself in the past cleaning the toilet in her lingerie, proving she doesn’t give a damn what other people think.
Go Julia!
