Kardashians and Jenners love these $3,400 leather pants

There’s a new streetwear designer taking over the fashion scene who’s been spotted on the Kardashians, Jenners, models, and “it” girls alike.

The brand, Unravel Project, was launched by designer Ben Taverniti in early 2015 and has grown into a major player with the help of his fiancé, makeup artist Joyce Bonelli who shot to fame thanks to her clients the Kardashians.

One of its most popular styles is its Lace-Up Leather Pants, which are marked at $3,486.99.

Kylie Jenner wore the lace-up pants to her sister Kendall’s 21st birthday party on Thursday night.

Just a month before, Kim Kardashian slipped them on for a Paris Fashion Week party pre-robbery.

Bonelli, who collaborates with stylist Monica Rose, brings a high-profile roster of clients, while Taverniti holds an impressive design résumé.

He studied at prestigious French fashion school ESMOD, worked for Jeremy Scott, and was creative director at Hudson Jeans.

With such well-connected partners, it’s no surprise that this label is making waves.

And Kendall incorporated the statement lambskin piece into her casual daytime look.

Taverniti and Bonelli’s duo’s aesthetic aligns with their edgy styled clothing.

Together they hope to create a brand that is unlike any other label in the industry.

“My strategy was to create momentum because the fashion industry is dying. Everything is starting to look the same, so the concept behind Unravel is “let’s destroy all this and start something new,” Taverniti told Racked.

Upon collaborating with Bonelli, Taverniti was initially quite wary of the exposure he realized she could give him through her celebrity clients.

“When Joyce and I first got together, people were talking about what she could do for me. It was never my goal to have her expose her friends to me,” he told Racked.

“In fact, I was pushing back on it because I knew how visible the brand would be once they wore it, and I didn’t know if I could keep up with the demand.”

Bonelli showed it to her friends and clients, who were immediately impressed and began merging the pieces into their regular street style looks.

Along with the Kardashian and Jenner sisters, a number of models and bloggers have also grown to love the brand and are often featured wearing it on Instagram.

This line is definitely one to keep on your radar.
