Karl Stefanovic 'won't apologise' for falling in love so soon after ex
Karl Stefanovic has made it clear he and and fiancée Jasmine Yarbrough are well and truly in love, and he’s not sorry about it.
Reflecting on how he “fell in love not long after” his separation with his ex wife Cassandra, the Today host told KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show that he doesn’t owe anyone an apology for his actions.
“At the end of the day I’m in love and I’m sorry if that causes anyone hurt,” the 43-year-old said, “But I won’t be apologising to my nearest and dearest because I don’t need to.”
After 21 years of marriage and having raised three children together, Karl and his ex Cassandra announced their separation in September 2016, before divorcing a year later.
Karl went official with shoe designer Jasmine at the end of 2016, and he’s now engaged to 34-year-old.
Of course, radio host Kyle Sandilands was on hand to crack some jokes, saying he felt “sorry” for Karl having “missed out” on playing the field after he went straight from one relationship to another.
But Karl told the shock jock he just wasn’t that type of guy and was “in love”.
The presenter added the situation surrounding his personal life was “very difficult on everyone and you just do your best”.
