We’ve caught glimpses of them out in public together at royal events, but we’ll finally get to see how friendly Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton really are when they step out together this weekend.

The sisters-in-law will attend the women’s singles final of Wimbledon on Saturday, to watch the Duchess of Sussex’s pal. Serena Williams, fight it out for the title.

“The Duchess of Cambridge and The Duchess of Sussex, will attend the Ladies’ Singles Final at The Championships, Wimbledon on Saturday 14th July,” journalist Rebeca English tweeted.

“Prior to the start of play, they will meet former Wimbledon Ladies Champions, as well as some of the ball boys and ball girls.”

Needless to say, the internet erupted at the news, with Twitter users struggling to contain their excitement.

“Best news ever”, one person tweeted, with another fan saying it will be ‘ice’ for Meghan to have Kate there while she watches her friend in action.

Serena and Meghan have been close for years, with the 36-year-old tennis ace even attending the royal wedding with her husband, Alexis Ohanian, back in May.

It won’t be the only Wimbledon outing for Kate Middleton, who will also attend the men’s singles final with her husband, Prince William, on Sunday.

Both Kate and Meghan are huge fans of the tennis, with the Duchess of Cambridge having been spotted at the tournament on numerous occasions.

Meanwhile. Meghan Markle attended two games in 2016 but not in the royal box, like she will be this weekend.
