How Kate Middleton avoided upstaging the bride at her best friend's wedding

She’s known as one of the thriftiest outfit recyclers out there and Kate Middleton did it again at her best friend’s wedding over the weekend.

The 36-year-old Duchess of Cambridge attended the nuptials of one of her best friends and Princess Charlotte’s Godmother, Sophie Carter to Robert Suggs, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Norfolk on Saturday, and in true Kate style, she rewore one of her most iconic ensembles.

Kate stunned in a Catherine Walker coat and lace dress she first wore when she visited Berlin in 2017, with her husband, Prince William and her kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The Duchess also rewore the Kiki McDonough Eden blue topaz and white gold flower necklace and matching earrings she wore in Germany.

However, her blue headpiece by Juliette Botterill Millinery, was a brand new piece for the Duchess, who also wore one of the designer’s creations for Prince Louis’ christening in July.

It isn’t the first time Kate has recycled an outfit to avoid upstaging the bride, as she famously rewore an Alexander McQueen cream coat for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding back in May.

Kate also colour coordinated with the page boys at Sophie Carter’s wedding, including her kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Prince George stole the show in a pair of blue trousers, white tights, a matching white shirt and a pair of white loafers.

“George is a real star, quite the little chap,” a family friend told People magazine.

“He was having a great time, running around like the leader of the pack.”

Princess Charlotte also looked adorable in a white dress with a blue sash and a flower crown.
