The funniest celebrity reactions to the royal baby arrival
Here ye, here ye. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child – a baby boy – into the world on Tuesday morning and the Internet, as you'd expect, has gone into meltdown.
And some of the best reactions have come from celebrities.
Apparently the new prince's name is Kanye, according to comedian and Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams anyway.
BREAKING NEWS. New #royalbaby name is ‘Kanye’.

He also hilariously noted how, once again, Prince Harry has been demoted in the royal line of succession.
Prince Harry just got demoted again. #royalbaby

Sarah Silverman also pitched some interesting baby name ideas.
Royal baby name pitches:
Joseph, Michael, Henry, Idris, Sandy, Clyde, Butch, Grandpa Al Lewis, Jude, Bub— Sarah Silverman (@SarahKSilverman) April 23, 2018
Our favourites are Bub and Grandpa Al Lewis, TBH.
As Kate Middleton went into labour Chrissy Teigen referred to it as "vagina watch". Very interesting notion to think about the royal baby being born.
Guys. It is time. For. VAGINA WATCH, 2018 (how WEIRD would this be???) https://t.co/IlanfbSRgg

Author of Harry Potter J.K. Rowling, being the witty woman she is, noted one reporter's take on the royal birth and had a hilarious response to it.
Listening to @CNN talking about #royalbaby3 and the reporter said ‘Prince Harry’s route to the throne just became more difficult’ as though it’s an open secret he’s planning to systematically slaughter his closest relatives

But then she had a fangirl moment after another reporter suggested the name for the royal baby should be 'Severus Albus'. We're all for it.
Then they discussed names and the anchor said he’s rooting for ‘Severus Albus, to tie everything together’ and I had one of my regular out-of-body ‘how the hell did all this happen?’ moments.

And, of course, there were plenty of simple best wishes to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince George and Princess Charlotte on their addition to the family from celebrities including former First Lady Michelle Obama, Liam Payne and actress Elizabeth Banks.
I love #royalbabies #royalbaby3 congrats to all of us but mostly to the parents and big sibs
