Katy Perry surprises sick Aussie fan with a visit to her home
Katy Perry always strives to put her fans first, and it’s been no different during her tour in Australia.
The 33-year-old Teenage Dream singer made a sick Adelaide fan’s dream come true when she treated her to a surprise visit at her home.
After looking forward to seeing Katy live in concert for over a year, eight-year-old Grace Moores was unable to go to the singer’s show as she had to undergo emergency brain surgery.
Katy’s management heard of Grace’s situation after her sister Tiana’s tweet was retweeted more than 20,000 times.
A Facebook video shared by Grace’s father showed Katy singing to Grace and her pet dog, with little Grace watching in absolute awe and delight.
The young fan was diagnosed with a brain tumour earlier this year in April. Her surgery last Wednesday was unplanned, and meant she wouldn’t be able to go to Katy’s Adelaide concert on Monday.

Grace’s sister Tiana later shared some sweet snaps from the celeb’s surprise home visit.
“GUYS WE DID IT! @katyperry just visited grace! She’s truely amazing and such a sweet person this was truely amazing! (sic),” she wrote.
Katy will continue her Witness tour in Australia this month, performing in Melbourne and Brisbane, before finishing up in Sydney.
