Kid trolls mum with hilarious airport sign

For a mum arriving home from a business trip, it’s usually a nice reward to be greeted by your kids and family at the airport.

However, for Barbara Nielsen, the usual airport pickup went a little astray when she saw the sign her son was holding up.

Returning home from a week-long work trip Barbra was greeted by her husband Brandon and son Daimen who cheekily surprised her with a large cardboard sign that read: “Welcome home from prison mom”.

After likely being left a little mortified in the airport, Barbara knew exactly who to blame for the sign… her husband.

Posting to Facebook Barbara said, “Brandon is a jerk lol this is the sign Daimen was holding when I got off the plane.”

Meanwhile, little Daimen was simply beaming ear to ear excited to see his mum.

And the photo of him holding the hilarious sign has since gone viral on Facebook after a friend shared it with the caption, “So a friend was gone for a week on BUSINESS and her husband made this sign for their son to hold to welcome mom back! I died laughing.”

This comes close to the Aussie couple that also went viral for the hilarious way they greet each other at the airport.

Robyn Thomas and her boyfriend Crin, have turned it into a little bit of a tradition to see who can embarrass the other the most.
