Kim and Kanye 'fought hard' to avoid split

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have had a pretty rough year and a half - between Kim's Paris robbery and Kanye's mental breakdown, they've hit some serious speed bumps.

And a close friend of the couple told People magazine that they've "fought hard" for their marriage.

"They went through a really rough time there for awhile," the insider revealed, admitting that the pair have worked extremely hard to fix their relationship, but things are looking positive.

"It was really touch and go. She was dealing with the robbery and all that came after, and she felt like he wasn’t there for her," the source told the publication. "He was going through his issues around the holidays, and he felt like she wasn’t prioritising him.”

The couple even found themselves questioning whether to keep their marriage going, but according to the sour "the answer was always, ‘Yes, this is worth it.’ So they both chose to fight.

"She and Kanye have been able to process things and move past them and are very ready for what’s next and not be so focused on the mess that was last year. They’re in a much better place."

The couple seem to be moving forward, with Kim Kardashian posting on Twitter today, "Our kids line TheKidsSupply.com drops tomorrow at 12 noon PST."

The reality star didn’t offer any other information about their joint fashion range, other than the fact that it would be inspired by ‘Calabasas’ which is not a surprise, as Kanye released an entire ‘Calabasian’ line earlier this year.
