'Is this Kim?': Kardashian shocks fans with new look

She faced major backlash last year when she was accused of darkening the colour of her skin in a promotional shot for her cosmetics line.

And now fans have been left baffled, yet again, by the latest advert for Kim Kardashian West’s KKW Beauty Classic Collection.

The photo, which was posted to the 37-year-old mum-of-three’s Instagram account, shows the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star pouting for the camera, while obviously wearing her own line of makeup.

However, fans were quick to comment on the snap, with some saying it looks nothing like the much-loved reality star.

“Stop trying to change your race with every picture,” one person commented underneath the photos, which has been liked nearly a million times.

“Her lips are huge,” another person said.

“Looks nothing like you at all. Did you look at it good, before you posted it?” another fan commented.

On person simply commented saying “Who dis??”, while another questioned: “Is this Kim?!”

In June last year, fans slammed the reality star for appearing to darken the colour of her skin in a promotional shot for her cosmetics line KKW Beauty.

“You black now sis?” Twitter user @pettyyonceh responded to the star.

“Black women get told to lighten meanwhile Kim spends her entire career in perpetual Black face and is lauded for her beauty,” @seniWnitsuA wrote.

Kim was forced to speak out about the accusations and claimed she was just ‘really tan’ for the shoot.

“I would obviously never want to offend anyone,” Kim told The New York Times.

“I used an amazing photographer and a team of people. I was really tan when we shot the images, and it might be that the contrast was off.

“But I showed the image to many people, to many in the business. No one brought that to our attention. No one mentioned it.”

Kim went on to say that she has learned from the controversy and had fixed the images.

She is yet to respond to the latest comments on her Instagram page.
