Just weeks after reportedly being spotted looking distraught after the ARIAS "over Josh", Kylie Minogue has revealed their wedding is still a "long way off".
The pop star and her fiancé won't be walking down the aisle until gay marriage becomes legal in Australia, meaning her dreams of marrying before 50 are fading fast.
"It depends who you listen to, it still could be a long way off," she told Jonathan Ross of when the Aussie laws could change.
Although she insists she stands by her man's decision to launch his Say 'I Do' Down Under campaign, telling the host, "My fiancé is the motor of this and I support him wholeheartedly and so many people have jumped on board but to come from a straight guy I think it says a lot.
"It doesn’t seem like news coming from me but coming from a foreigner who just couldn’t believe that it’s not yet legalised. So hopefully it won’t be long."
The couple were rumoured to have been planning to marry this summer in Kylie's hometown of Melbourne.
However, Josh, 28, recently revealed they won't tie the knot until Australia changes its stance on same-sex marriage.
“We are not comfortable getting married until this law has passed,” he told Channel Seven’s Sunrise in October.
But despite Josh having Kylie's full support, the singer is allegedly upset that her fiancé refuses to set a date.
"She wants to get married but Josh won’t commit to a date and it’s breaking her heart. It’s looking unlikely she’ll be married by the time she’s 50, which is a bitter pill to swallow," a source told New Idea.
