Confused mum freaks out over Snapchat filter, orders daughter to hospital

If you're feeling that familiar three thirty-itis kicking in and are in need of some serious LOLZ then boy, do we have a treat for you. It comes in the form of Rebecca Owen, 30, who WhatsApped her mum, Lana, a selfie video of her joking around with the Snapchat square filter, which - quite obviously - turned her head into a square (see above).

“[I] thought I would send it to my mum ‘cause I thought she would laugh at it,” she told BuzzFeed news.

But, rather than seeing the humour in it, her mum assumed that Rebecca either a) was on drugs, b) got drunk and fell over or c) was deathly sick and in desperate need of hospitalization (though she didn't seem that worried about Rebecca's welfare when Rebecca shrugged off hospital TBH).

Shocked by her daughter's dismissiveness of basically looking like a RL blockhead, Lana then proves she's not a ~regular~ mum by casually throwing her encyclopedic knowledge about the 'hip drugs these days' into the convo.

Finally, Rebecca lets her poor mum in on the joke, but not before hanging her out to dry on Facebook.

Kudos to Lana, who failed so hard she almost won.
