Miranda Kerr's 5-year-old son, Flynn, gives her life advice

When you’re a single mum to a five-year-old as well one of the world's most successful supermodels and a CEO, it’s safe to say life can get pretty busy - just ask Miranda Kerr.

But, while the Aussie born export who heads up Kora Organics is a self-confessed lover of crystals and pilates, it’s not these outlets she uses in a spot of stress. Nor does she turn to her mum or a friends for a venting sesh - rather it’s her five year old son, Flynn, who coaches her through trying times.

“I was running out of the house and he [Flynn] could tell I was getting frustrated because I was late,” she tells Be. “He was like, 'Mummy sometimes I feel frustrated too.' And I was like, 'do you honey?'".

"He replied saying, 'do you know what I do? I take a deep breath, I close my eyes and I think about a rainbow.' And he just made that up himself, like I never taught him that!" She laughs. "And he goes, 'I just think of all the colours of the rainbow and it just makes me feel better.' I was like, ‘Flynn that’s incredible!’”

And if little Flynn’s advice isn’t adorable enough, he actually made his supermodel mum try it out.

“So I closed my eyes and he was like, 'ok, do you got the rainbow? Do you feel better?'"

“I said, ‘yeah, thank you so much Flynny.’ And he was like, 'ok, well if that didn’t work you can also think of a unicorn because sometimes I do that.'"

Apparently his mum, who’s in town for the launch of new Kora Organics products, isn’t the first person Flynn has helped through stressful times either.

“I asked, have you told anyone else that? And he goes, ‘yeah, I told my friend Kayla once when she was upset’”.

Awww all the feels, amiright? There you have it ladies and gents, next time you’re feeling stressed just picture some unicorns and rainbows and everything will be a-okay.
