Amorous kitten escapes cage to visit lonely puppy

It’s no secret that keeping cats and dogs in pet stores is less than ideal. Not only do they have to cope with extraordinarily tiny conditions, they must also get really bored.

But, as the video above shows, apparently some of them are living a double life. A kitten in Taiwan was caught on security tape escaping her cage to visit the dachshund puppy next door in the wee hours of the morning – and he couldn’t be more excited about it.

In what can only be described as a hero attempt, the kitten manages to climb out of her cage, and, with the help of her puppy friend, fall straight into his. At one point, it looks as if the two are long lost lovers, because the dachshund is clearly attempting to smooch the kitten.

Whether these two realise they’re supposed to be arch-enemies is anyone’s guess, but for now, it’s clear they’ll take whatever they can get.
