Men getting photoshopped like women is hilarious

When a photoshoot comes out in a magazine or a celebrity shares an image on social media, the first thing people love to do is scrutinise it and ask themselves, is this Photoshopped?

It’s not an unusual thing to wonder these days when almost anyone can pretend to be a graphic designer and alter their butt to be bigger and better.

To prove just how “authentic” today’s world is, four men stripped in the name of fashion and beauty to recreate famous female celebrity photoshoots.

From getting their hair did to spending 45 minutes getting their faces contoured, the Try Guys go all out to show what happens when regular guys get touched up on Photoshop.

One guy bares all to copy Kim Kardashian’s 2015 photoshoot in which her body was lathered with white paint in front of a desert landscape. He’s asked to stick his butt out, tuck his chin in and push his chest out all at the same time, and of course, being a dude, he gets totally confused!

Another guy becomes a Victoria’s Secret model for the day, recreating a 2015 online underwear advertisement. Facing the wall, he says he feels like an “object” and is asked to clench his butt to recreate the model’s no butt and large thigh gap look. “Why do people want so much space between their thighs?” he asks.

You may remember the infamous Ralph Lauren ad where the model’s waist looks like it was Photoshopped like there’s no tomorrow. In this shoot, the guy’s arms get trimmed to look like twigs - it's hilariously unrealistic.

When it comes to ageing celebrities, a lot goes into retouching their wrinkles - as Madonna’s 2008 album photo can attest to. When the fourth guy gets done up to recreate the then 50-year-old pop singer's look, he freakishly channels Gollum from The Lord of the Rings. The icing on the cake is his gold nut-huggers.

The guys then sit back and watch a slideshow of their 'before' and 'after' shots and the results are hysterical!

“What a nightmare,” one guy says. "I look like a vampire," another notes. “Are you sitting on your nuts?” one man asks the guy who channeled Kimmy K.

The woman in the video then makes an important point. “Since there always will be photoshop, stay body positive with the current body that you have, and to know that what you are right now is great,” she states. And she’s right! We’re perfect the way we are.
