Pippa Middleton is off the market
According to the Daily Mail, the 32-year-old sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, became engaged to her hedge fund manager partner, 40-year-old James Matthews, last weekend.
James reportedly dropped to his knee and produced a ring while on a romantic walk at the Lake District where the couple were holidaying, with Pippa saying 'yes' to the massive diamond.
The pair, who have been dating for just under a year will reportedly marry in a lavish wedding next year, certain to rival that of her famous sister Kate Middleton, who famously stopped the world with her breathtaking wedding in 2011.
Pippa briefly dated her hedge fund manager fiance in 2012 and the couple reconciled late last year after she split from financier Nico Jackson.
"James is a traditionalist and very much wanted to do things properly. That meant getting his future father in law’s consent," a faily friend told the Daily Mail.
Another friend claimed that "Mike and Carole are very happy. They like James and they are sure he will make Pippa very happy."
According to numerous friends of the couple, Pippa was extremely surprised by the proposal but didn't hesitate when asked and accepted it at once.
In June Pippa stunned at Wimbledon in a dazzling off-the-shoulder $2300 dress.
The star, who was famously dubbed the 'royal show stealer' and 'her royal hotness' when she stepped out looking sensational in a slinky, figure-hugging white dress at Kate Middleton's wedding, was accompanied by their younger brother, James, who looked dapper in a navy suit, blue and white checked shirt and red tie.
The brother sister duo were seated behind Rebel Wilson where they cheered on British wildcard player, James Ward, who was facing world No.1 Nvak Djokovic.
